End of Development

BankruptcyPRO turns 27 years old this year.  We’ve done all we can to keep it up to date, both technologically and with all the continuous changes in the bankruptcy courts.  The time has come, however, for it to retire.  We will continue to maintain form and plan changes through 2024, but starting in 2025 we will only update means test numbers and exemptions.  You may be able to get a few more years out of it if your local plan doesn’t change, but for users in districts that have frequent plan and local form changes, it would be wise to start planning your move to Jubilee.  We have lots of tools for moving firms from BankruptcyPRO to Jubilee and we can provide training to your staff to make the experience positive.  Contact our support team to get started or schedule a session with Seville here.  A typical BKPRO firm only needs a one hour walkthrough with Seville or Evonne to get up and running quickly in Jubilee.

Note:  When you are ready to make the transition, your BKPRO license will be transferred to Jubilee.  You will not lose access to BKPRO and we have tools to transfer your case data to Jubilee.  Most FlashDOCS forms can be used with Jubilee as well.

Change like this is not limited to BankruptcyPRO; our competitor’s desktop bankruptcy platform is being phased out in favor of their cloud solution as well.  This evolution is occurring because the economics of maintaining these older desktop products are simply not favorable.  We’ve moved hundreds of BKPRO firms to Jubilee and have a successful track record.  Once in a while a firm will return to BKPRO due to specific issues that arise in their office or district.  We will continue to address those concerns and we aim to make all of our clients happy customers with Jubilee.

Inflation has Landed

Jubilee Pricing Change

Our advertised pricing for new users in Jubilee has increased each year and we raised them again this month.  For current customers, even though inflation has run wild over the past few years, we’ve managed to hold prices steady.  But our costs to provide service have been rising and we must therefore bring all users up to the current pricing levels starting January 1, 2024.  As we are always quick to mention, all revenue coming into LegalPRO gets invested into the company’s software and service to provide our users with a better product.

Telling customers that we are raising prices is not a fun thing to write about, but even with the increase, we are still the best deal in the bankruptcy software arena.  We still have the lowest prices and the best service, and we look forward to continuing to improve Jubilee long into the future.  We thank you all for your continued support!

Promotional E-Sig Program Ending

We will no longer be offering free promotional e-signature credits with subscriptions and all promotional credits will expire at the end of this year.  However, we can now drop the price of e-signatures from $3 each to $2 (or as low as $1.40 in a bundle) as we’ve gotten better pricing from SignNow with our increasing volume.  To be clear, credits you have purchased are not expiring - only promotional credits.  We were the first and only software provider to offer integrated e-signatures and it has proven to be a popular feature in Jubilee.

Wow - the end of development for BKPRO, inflation, and no more promotional e-sigs – So do we have any good news to share this holiday season?

Yes - of course!  All these changes are being done with a long-term plan in mind.  We want to keep the great people we have working here secure and add additional development resources for Jubilee.  You have entrusted our software to run your bankruptcy practice and we fully intend to deliver the quality and service you expect.

Some new projects we are working on include Zapier connections and email integrations.  We also want to enhance Jubilee’s CC/DE experience with integrations to more providers and a better feature set to track statuses and retrieve the completion certificates.

While our competitors are leaving their clients dialing in for support on hold for hours (if they answer at all), we still have a great support team that always answers your calls.
