Jubilee CreditVista™ Continues to Evolve

In our first iteration of Jubilee Credit Vista (JCV) we introduced the very first debtor pay-and-order option for obtaining and importing credit report data. This worked well much of the time, but we also found it to be mistake prone and time consuming. In our second iteration we removed the debtor pay option and made small refinements, which solved some issues, but still relied on the debtor(s) to interact with a third-party website, which wasn’t as user friendly as it needed to be.

This month we have introduced our third iteration, which should improve the JCV experience even more. Now, the debtor is taken to their own Jubilee web-portal, which is very easy for them to use and complete the order. No longer do we need to issue separate links to each debtor (which always created confusion) and their SSN’s and DOB’s are verified before the order is initiated to eliminate data entry errors. Since we control the portal (rather than a third party) we can quickly solve any issues that may arise and get the report completed. As an additional feature, the attorney has the option to have the debtor order and authorize the report but delay the order submission until a later date. This will be handy if you want to get the report preauthorized (during the initial consultation perhaps) and only order it when you decide to proceed with the case.

We also added a new report to monitor your JCV orders and client activity. You can quickly see a list of all orders and filter on "Invitation Sent" to keep an eye on debtors who have not completed the authentication process. View - Reports - JCV Orders

Jubilee’s Credit Vista report is the lowest priced three-bureau credit report offered by any bankruptcy software provider and we have more features in the works (such as a KBA free attorney direct order process) which are coming soon.

Cronofy Security  Authentication

For Jubilee users who are syncing their Jubilee calendar with Office 365, you may receive an email from support[at]cronofy.com stating that you need to upgrade to “Modern Authentication”. This is a legitimate email, and you simply need to click on the link provided in the email and follow directions. You will need your Office 365 credentials to relink your account, but it is otherwise a quick and simply process.

Ever Changing Exemptions and Local Forms

Are your state’s exemptions changing? How about your local forms? Please let us know whenever you learn about changes to exemptions or local forms. Monitoring changes in every state and local jurisdiction is a mammoth task and we appreciate your help with keeping us updated. We recently updated exemptions in Arizona and Virginia.

Bankruptcy Filings Have Started to Rise Again!

For the first time since January, the consumer bankruptcy market is progressing more than last year! Although the rate of consumer bankruptcies has dropped significantly in recent years, it appears that we are seeing the end of the decline.
